I’ve realized something.
You don’t really ever grow up… at least, I don’t think I ever will. Call it what you will, but I still possess a lot of the same characteristics, habits, and opinions I had when I was five…
I play with my food.
I find pleasure in coloring books… coloring in the red lips first, of course.
I run after ducks, pigeons, geese… you name it, I scare it.
I wear tights with rips in them… didn’t really look suitable in our family christmas cards when I was three and doesn’t really look suitable now.
I am in bed by 11 pm on most nights.
I am scared of clowns with big, tangled red whigs and white faces.
I bite the heads of my animal crackers off first… don’t worry, they don’t have feelings.
I have to be reminded to shower more than less often.
I laugh when people hurt themselves.
I love glitter and stickers and anything shiny.
I’d rather have ice cream for breakfast.
I find ways to add sugar to everything… the sweeter, the better.
Take this dip, for example. No spices or vegetables or anything green…
